LEGO’s Full-Scale Bugatti Chiron Model

LEGO recreated the iconic Bugatti Chiron in a full-scale model (it only took a team of their most talented builders and over 13,000 hours of work). Oh, and you can drive it too.

When the favorite toy of most childhoods meets supercar gloriousness, the result is something excessive and yet, we dig it.

I would drive this life size Bugatti made out of LEGO any day. It’s apparently made of LEGO Technic parts, and the car actually runs too. This life-size scale model is made with over 1,000,000 LEGO Technic elements.

The 3,300-pound model car can also be driven due to its 2,304 LEGO Power Function motors and 4,032 Technic gear wheels. Test driven by multi-time 24 Hours of Le Mans and Daytona winner Andy Wallace, the car generates 5.3 horsepower and is able to reach speeds of 20km/h.

The other technical elements like the rear spoiler, speedometer, front and back-lights, detachable steering wheel and the brake pedal are all constructed of Technic parts as well.
